Nissan Lower 370z Sales Forecast? Maybe Not
April 14th, 2009
All over the web today you’ll read the story from Automotive News that Nissan has lowered their global 370z sales forecast from 30,000 cars to just 10,000. Not including the Japanese market. That was split between US (7000 cars) and Europe (3000 cars).
Autoblog called shenanigans on these figures however as they don’t seem to take actual sales figures into account. So far Nissan are selling more than 1,000 Z’s per month in the US alone. It also fails to take into account other regions launching the new Z this year such as Australia in May 09.
Seems like Nissan won’t have much trouble meeting this sales target but it seems a little low to be realistic.
