In Edmund’s long term road test blog this week the 370z is the Car of the Week. One of the posts that caught my eye was this suspension walk around. Head over to the Edmunds site to check it out in full. Worth the time.

After opening a can on the 2010 Mustang GT on Edmunds last 370z article, they’ve now published the numbers and track impressions on their regular blog.
Impressive to say the least. Click the link for more eh?

With a thumping V8 under the hood and a brand new revised handling package you may be thinking that the 2010 Mustang GT might be a lot of car for the 370z to go up against. The price tags are similar enough and they have two doors a piece but that’s about where the similarities end.
The Mustang seemed sloppy when it came time to use the steering wheel and downright dangerous when the road got twisty. In a straight line however they’re hard to split apart both going and stopping.
The Mustang wins when you need to take anyone anywhere with anything but the Z wins at being more of a focussed sports car.
Bottom line is the Z wins deservedly. Check the video and more photo galleries at Edmunds.com.

Edmunds have added a brand new Z34 370z to their garage this week with the delivery of their 370z Touring Model with Sport Package. It joins the fleet as one of their long term test vehicles which will endure the day to day use of the Edmunds team who’ll keep us entertained with their blog posts from time to time.

Edmunds have had their hands on the new Z and unsurprisingly put it to the test versus one of the other stars of their garage, the BMW 135i. Costing around $5,000 more the BMW needs to pull out all the stops to beat the Z in such a comparison. And well it just doesn’t have what it takes. Nissan have engineered a new benchmark in the sport compact coupe at a price point making it incredibly relevant in today’s market.
Check out the full story, including a nice video of the Z in action over at Edmunds at the link below.
