HKS have released their Racing Suction intake kit for the Nissan 370z this week. The Racing Suction kit replaces the standard airboxes completely with a pair of HKS foam type air filters and a aluminium hard piping kit.
The HKS Racing Suction kit is available from HKS distributors now for 110,250 yen.
For those who are not overly keen on replacing a pair of perfectly good factory airboxes, HKS also have some high flow panel replacements known as the HKS Super Hybrid filter system. Check those out in our previous post.

Quite a number of aftermarket parts companies are confirming that either their existing parts translate directly across to the new Z34 or that they’ve released something else of interest not exclusively for the new Z though. We’re not going to publish a post for every little thing though so here’s a quick rundown of what’s new this week:

HKS have wrapped up development on their Legamax Premium exhaust for the new Z as we discussed back on the 12th December. Quick development times mean fast releases at HKS and in this case the release date is 25th December 2008.
In terms of noise, those who are after a loud rumble might want to shop around a bit more. This is a Legamax exhaust after all which aims at maintaining the noise emissions of the factory exhaust while improving performance. Sound levels at idle are just 1dB above standard (56dB vs 55dB) and at full throttle just 4dB louder than standard (84dB vs 80dB).
Price wise, the HKS system comes in at 102,900 yen mark making it quite the affordable upgrade.
